Two thirds of this store’s 6000 square feet is devoted to modern eco style. Owner Nancy Brown carries the exclusive Environment Furniture line, an L.A.-based furniture designer whose credo is ‘nature is the best designer we know.’ Many pieces are crafted using reclaimed wood from central Brazil’s dense inner cities, small rural towns, vast farmlands and rainforests. Other eco-friendly inventory includes an upholstery line made from repurposed Brazilian truck tarps.
